RC Powers has done it again with another free plan, the F35v2. As
always their focus is on beginners and noobs and this airframe is no
different, it's perfect for those looking to get into the hobby
successfully. It flies stable and straight, looks scale in the sky,
cuts through the wind with ease and has a lot of room for mods and power
as you advance from beginner to advanced. Things like spoilerions,
rudders, airbrakes, EDF and any KF airfoil of your choice are easy to
include in your build. I choose a powerful setup, running a Greyson
Hobbies Monsterjet spinning a 7x5 prop on a 2200mah 3 cell. I used
elevons for most of this flight and mixed in the ailerons for quick
rolls when I wanted it. With this setup I can drop in a 4 cell and a
smaller prop for a lot more speed and flip switches to make it more
maneuverable as I got use to it. The best thing about this PDF plan, is
that it's completely free and is well thought out and easy to build.
RCPowers also offers courses for those with no building or flying
experience to go along with this airplane, it will teach you everything
from what electronics to buy and how to use certain glues. Download the plans here for FREE! RCPowers PDF Plans
