Sorry I meant to add that I would be using this with SmartProPlus for flight simulator and buddy boxing with my cheap HK6S transmitter.

to be honest I do not know about that :P i man it could work but it may need all of the PWM signals you would have to find out info on the microcontrollers it is using and how their trainer works :::P weather it is like spektrum i do not know sorry about that

Could you take out the s-video and solder on a female mono jack? I assume even though it is 5 pin it only needs two: ground and PPM signal. Would this work?
