Hi,
I wanted to make a H-Quad that hold all the electronics including battery inside the fuselage.
The frame is made out off wood 15x15mm bars.
It has place for 2x3 cell 2200 mah batteries, when flying without camera for balance.
When filming I just use on battery to counter weight to the camera.
To access the battery and electronics. I just bend the cover, made of flexible plastic. Mounted with screws in the outer end, and Velcro in center.
See pictures below. And also a movie off the first flight with camera on a windy day above.
Top View.
Open back compartment.
Open Front compartment.
Really awsome idea!

Also take into consideration I will be fitting a GoPro hero 2 onto the craft.

the current world record quadcopter flight (65mins, I think. and that was with out a camera. I am sure a goPro would cut that time in half) had 35$ motors, 50$ props, and two 11000mah battrys, 260$ each. yikes!
