GoPro Head Tracker FPV

Our FENIX 150 RC airplane is fixed with a DIY servo-driven GoPro mount that's linked into the Fatshark AttitudeSD giving us a truly unique head tracking FPV experience!

The Fatshark AttitudeSD is the newest FPV google headset available from Fatshark and features a built in headtracker!

We are using 5.8GHz Circular Polarized spiroNet Antenna with our googles and we've linked the head tracking to a homemade servo-driven platform for our GoPro.

The GoPro now moves anywhere the Fatshark user moves his head, which gives us a one of a kind FPV experience!

The FENIX 150 RC/Glider kit from Lazer Toyz is the perfect radio controlled plane for trying out these kinds of tests. And the foam construction allows it to be easily modified. We've chopped the nose off ours!

Another great feature of the head tracking setup is the ability to look down and follow objects as you fly over them!

These Fatshark goggles setup with the 5.8GHz Circular Polarized spiroNet Antenna gives us the ability to fly long range FPV without the need for a ground station geek box.  Pretty exciting stuff!

Nice stuff, thanks. That beep-lockout-feature on the fatsharks seems pretty annoying though. Can it be disabled?

It would be nice a show presenting how to use HK FlightControl v2.1 as a core of the HeadTracking system.

This is different. I have only seen one gopro pan and tilt pod before and it was really bulky. This one seems nice and compact but I don't know what I would use it on though.
