This a video of Jason's attempt at an FPV long range flight out to a Bush Fire. Hopefully you get to experience what it was like from the Ground and get a feel what normally goes on when FPVing. Its going to be a long video to watch, but having said that you should get a good feel for what it was like.
For what it's worth I hope its not too painful a watch.

Are you trying to give Flite Test a run for there money with video quality? You have some mighty nice cameras, there!
Did he have a tailwind coming home? Maybe I missed it, but wasn't sure how the wind direction played into things.

The wind was literally all over the place. On the way back he ended up having a cross wind with slight head wind. The issue with the wind was the fact that it was so hard to fly. When I upload FPV footage from my Mini SkyWalker you'll see that it was all over the sky, the wind was on and off the whole time.
At one stage when we were both up together a strong gust blew down both Ground Stations. It was one very funny day lol
