2nd FPV Portugal Meeting

Hi, my name is Pedro aka peter97silva and I'm 17.  I'm an RC "things" and technology fan since I was a kid.  I've had some of those cheap RC planes that fly indoors. They were fun but didn't meet my expectations.

One year ago I started searching about those RC airplanes and it appeared that they were cheaper than I thought, (now I know they're not :)) and I started building the list of materials needed.  Some months later a FT Old Speedster were born and then a Versa Wing.

After flying the Versa Wing I started looking for FPV and mounted it on the Versa, well it were my favourite airplane. I've build and crashed 3 :D

After that, I designed and build my own flying wing, the Blackbird 45.  Now I fly FPV with it every month. :)

Then I found the FPVPortugal forum, at the time iI found it, it was such a small community, now we have almost 400 members.  I started being active and some months later we organised the first meeting.  It was really small but it was a really fun day!

After lots of small meets we have now organised the 2nd National Meeting.  Now we've have a lot more interested people!  Even a German guy joined us!

It was even more fun than the first meeting and I leave you three videos for you to see how it was!  The first is footage from all the people in there edited by me.  The second is filmed and edited by the German guy.  The third is filmed and edited by a member of our forum called AlexSete!

FPVPortugal's main goal is to give a good image of "drones" -as media calls it-, organising meetings and showing the beautiful landscapes and aerial views we can shoot,  Also showing that its not as much of a privacy invasion as they say because our FPV quality and camera angles doesn't allow to see close up things.
