Personally having a shorter podcast rather than none is still more apealing. Hearing folks talk about RC is just fun any way it is delivered. I do agree about the volume though for this one.

The fact that Josh was able to join was awesome even though it was haphazard.

The point of the After-hours and community podcast is to fill in the gap and they are doing a great job by design. However let the original crew podcast even though they may be random.

Peter how about a miniature childrens piano?
Very doable. And it could be an operational piano and still fly!
Just google "Children's Piano"
I have faith. That or a dambuster...

Hello! This is somewhat off topic, but it is a giant scratch build. I am currently working on a scratchbuilt 195% Bushwacker/Carbon Z Cub with an 85in wingspan. I'm having trouble figuring out what motor I should put in it. I know I should probably put the E Flite motor that is in the standard Carbon Z Cub, but I dont want to spend $85 on it. I'm looking for a somewhat high-powered motor, but an efficient one too. Also, what quality but cheap prop and ESC should I use?

Sorry guys, but I think this here is justified critique:
-these podcast are very unregular
-the quality is miserable (Josh Bixler is almost unhearable)
-the length makes this barely count as a podcast
If you guys don´t have the time to produce a podcast, just don´t. The only thing you got to do is admitting that there is no time for a podcast and telling your audience the truth. The last community podcast was way better than this. And the After hours podcast holds up as well. Just let them take over. Don´t take that personal, you know I´m right.

Good content, but your audio levels are all over the place. I stopped this podcast halfway through.

Yea constantly adjusting the volume to hear people kinda makes this a pain to listen to.

+skyliner, a critique typically has two parts, the critique and the resolution. In the critique you discuss what you didn't like about something, it's faults, errors, etc. Some of that you did fine, the rest however, you're just being rude.

The resolution requires that you inform them of how they can fix their problems. You did nothing of the sort so that negates your statements as being anything of a critique. Don't take that personal, you know I'm right. ;)

As to the podcast, I had no trouble hearing anyone. Perhaps a better sound system is required for those who had issues hearing everyone? Headphones maybe?

That being said, the audio "issues" seem to be the effect of people either sitting too close or too far from the microphone. Peter is the loudest and clearest, so that would be the level of audio you'd want to match with everyone.

I'm not sure what microphone you guys are using but it seems to be directional - the audio is best only from one side of the microphone. You need an omnidirectional microphone where it picks up audio evenly from all around. Either that or think about getting a set of independant mics, one for the host and each guest, and nice little audio mixer, or some good lavalier mics like they use on talk shows and news casts. :)

Aside from that, the audio itself is crystal clear. Although it was only the second one I listened to, I enjoyed it and I look forward to hearing the others. :)

But seriously skyliner, don't take it personal. I'm just messing with ya. ;)

Peter, you need to brew a cup of coffee in the air at Flite Fest. It wouldn't be a huge build, but would be really cool.

Don't know if it's been said yet, but ever since the Star Destroyer episode, Peter should do a a bunch of different sci-fi space crafts, and have one night at Flite Fest be a space theme where everyone with a space themed craft with led's and lazer's can fly. It would be interesting and interactive. Just throwing in my 2 cents

Sorry guys but this podcast was way too quiet. I had the volume maxed out on my phone and could still hardly hear it.
