With that in mind, I really enjoy that plane, you just have to learn how to fly it. Keep the speed up, and use the rudder to make coordinated turns, and it will fly great :)

SAFE, in tandem with an AS3X receiver, limits an aircraft to movement WITHIN a particular envelope, which can INCLUDE the famous PANIC RECOVERY.
I'm programming an AR636 receiver at the moment for a BIxler 1 and I'm a bit surprised and disappointed by how much of the really cool stuff is SAFE and NOT AS3X. Spektrum CR tell me that public CANNOT program an AS3X receiver to DO SAFE.
I do think that you all (y'all ?) should buy some AS3X receivers (AR636 ?) and really learn what you are talking about.
There is annoyingly little information available to guide RATE GAIN and HEADING GAIN settings for various types of aircraft. This is something that Flite Test could be helping with imho.
By the way, is it possible that people who have a lot of trouble with AS3X might be those who have a habit of releasing their sticks?
