This podcast was nearly impossible to listen to. First you start with a story you told in the last episode "for the people that missed it". Seriously? People that missed it should just go and download that episode. And if the phone call quality was any good, maybe it would be interesting, but now you can't even understand the guy half of the time.
Then half way through the episode wayne's mic breaks? Does anyone even listen to the recording before posting it here? At this point I switched to episode 53.
Aha, flight control boards, an interesting topic as I've been doing some research on this myself. What a letdown... The first 5 minutes of the podcast is you guys talking all at the same time, messing about, phones ringing, etc. Just like every podcast lately, it has no beginning, no intro, almost like you're sitting at a table and hitting the 'record' button at a random moment. After that you barely scratch the surface of flight control boards. Josh says something about the naza, Peter mentions the Vector and that's basically it. And oh yes, Josh also mentions the naze32, but that quickly turns into a marketing speech about the tough tilt.
I used to look forward to and enjoy listening to these podcasts, but these days it's just a bunch of guys sitting at a table without a plan. "We'll have a free hour tomorrow" is mentioned in one of the episodes... and judging by the quality of the latest podcasts I'm afraid this is the way you actually do this, but it shows in quality. Have a plan, research the subject you are going to discuss. For example naze clone boards were not even mentioned here. Explain the differences and nuances of each board. Discuss baseflight vs cleanflight, etc. With proper research you could even do a separate podcast for each control board and it would still be interesting, but at this moment you just don't have the content to fill an episode. People (or at least me) listen to your podcast to learn a few things, not to listen to you guys messing around and filling the time slot you set out to. Also, voicemails are fun and all, but they shouldn't be a substitute for content.
And I don't know why, but lately even the video episodes have gotten less interesting. Seems like way too much time is going into the marketing of your own products. Which I can completely understand since that is a mayor source of income for you guys, but the videos are getting too 'marketing' like. It used to be challenges and fun stuff, these days it seems like you just film yourselves while flying. Not nearly as entertaining as it used to be.
Don't get me wrong, I still watch the show and listen to the podcasts. I just wish it was more like it used to be. I'm losing interest in this, but I don't want to be.
I suggest you download an episode of the "stuff you should know" podcast. Tons of information and brought in a professional manner. I wish flitetest was just a tad more like that. Quality is going downhill fast.
Could anyone of the flitetest crew that actually read this leave a reaction to this. Even if it's just 'I read this'. I have a feeling no one actually reads the feedback given by the community.

I love listening to you guys going on about the hobby, it's infectious. Keep it up... just improve you're production levels a bit.
Thanks for it all!
