Still has that New Plane smell!

GeeBee X Sportster scratch build in foam board.

As you will see I'm still getting the hang of my most recent plane. Of course if they didn't fly different - it wouldn't be as much fun.

I've still got power issues, but in a way that's probably more true to life. Unlimited power has its place, but I'm finding it an extra challenge managing the plane's energy and speed to keep it flying during faster turns etc. I come from a yacht and dinghy background where this is second nature.

Due to the heavier foam board I'm using the AUW is 29 ozs or 820 grams.

She still flies though! :)

Thanks for the quick reply, I hear you on the spam floodgates, I have a wife that will not practice safe internet and I get all kind of weird things every so often that takes time to kill off. Again thanks for the build video I just ordered the new old time one but want to put a wing on it that has ailerons.

Great flying air plane! What is the name of the music that you used, I also like the music.

Hi Andre - thanks for the comments - it is a great flyer, and very forgiving!
I got the music through YouTube - it was a time-match to the video. I don't know if you've ever done this, but after posting a video on YouTube they offer music from various 'legal' sources that you can add to the video. I ticked the box for music to match the video length and used the search string "instrumental". A whole pile of pieces came up and I listened to a few before choosing this one. I was surprised to find the music is actually created on-line on a website called Musicshake. The composer is listed as IISiblings and his/her piece is titled - That Sinking Floating Feeling.
Here's a link to his/her page; http://eng.musicshake.com/user/IISiblings
Nothing more I can add - I'd post a 'thank-you' to the composer on the musicshake website, but they ask you to sign-up first. I'm a bit cautious about signing-up to online sites, regardless of how benign they look in case it opens a spam floodgate.
