MESArcFF Gets Mr. T

To the FliteTest Community,

The MESArcFF team is blessed again to have wanting volunteers to help out with our students. Last semester we had Chris Miller, a hardcore scratch build plane guy, brought a lot of expertise to the students and it was a huge benefit. This semester we landed Brad Tallis, a 3D Software Engineer by day, and a multirotor designer and flyer by night. Just like any volunteer that walks through our doors, they have to earn their stripes and gain the respect of the MESArcFF students.  Mr. T earned his stripes and more, showing that he can design using the 3D software him and his company designed as well as make it and fly it!

Just like Mr. T said in the video, the software he uses is free and is available at the following link.  So for those of you who want to create multirotors or equivalent using a 3D program and you don't have a program, doesn't hurt to try it. This is the same software used by NASA and Gopro...

So from Design to creation, you can see the precision of his build, using G10 board as his main platform construction proves to be the way to go for heavy lifting quads.

A happy Mr. T showing off his quad.

The quad proved to be a very stable flyer, especially the gimbal, it was top notch.

Still a ton of snow, go away snow!

A cool shot of the team from the onboard Hero 2
