Just a quick tip for multi rotor chassis building.

 

Always make sure the chassis will not flex or this happens.......

We were giving it a worst case scenario in terms of weight as this was the maiden.
There has been some modifications to the frame since and we now have a very stable H Quad. Video and article coming soon in Multi Rotors section here.

Yes, it has become flyable after that. I made it out of a spruce wood... but It was supposed to be made out of a hardwood. But these additional booms completely solved the problem. This was a very good frame (until I crashed it, irreparably)...

So where would I get hardwood from I wonder?

I don't know. My local hobby shop sells only the spruce wood. So I had no other choice. Guys in flitetest H-quad video spoke about hardwood so it should be possible to buy it.
