Spyhawk FPV

In this episode of Flite Test Josh and Josh fly the Spy Hawk FPV!

Traditionally, First Person Flying has been complex and only available to those who could build from scratch and know how to solder. With the new SpyHawk FPV all the hard work is done. It's a commercially available RTF FPV system.

I really like your videos and I was wondering when a new challenge was going to happen. I like rc planes but I can't afford them right now because i'm 11 and i don't have a job. So i've just been flying on the free microsoft flight. Keep up the good videos.

ive got that same plane over here in the uk (well the nine eagles sky runner) but without the fpv equipment and just if anyones wondering check my youtube channel M3F4nt4stic to see how amazingly durable even when almost destroyed and it can do aerobatics very very easily! (not quite 3D though)

Great job but some idea of price should have been added, other than that I saw all I needed.

I found the music playing while the Joshs were talking to be very distracting. Did you mix it differently for this video?

As I wrote on the YouTube page that you claim you can't respond to that this review was a commercial. RCModelReviews reviewed this plane shortly after you did and found a few issues that you should have found or did find but neglected to mention in your commercial. You once did a clip on values where you stated that you would be unbiased, I beleive it was called Hobbyking sponsorship. This unit has serious limitations above and beyond the one limitation that you did mention (can't take the FPV equipment out and use in a different plane) and has some quality control issues. $370 is a lot of money to spend on a marginal plane that you might fly a couple of times and then put on the shelf. Anyone wanting to see an honest review of this plane should look for RCModelReview where Bruce did a fair review of the plane and mentioned both good and bad. Too bad you sold out on this one.
