Simple Pliers Stand

Got sick of digging through a drawer of tools looking for the pliers i kept needing while working on my last plane, and came up with this simple stand, to keep all the pliers i constantly lose in one organized, easy to get to spot.

You will need...

  1. One piece of Dollar Tree foamboard, cut into a 13" x 8" rectangle
  2. Hot glue
  3. Packing tape
  4. Box cutter
  5. A pen
  6. Pliers, duh....

Mark the foamboard at 3", and 8", and make a line across it.

Make three more lines, a 1/4" to the left of the first line, and 1/4" on each side of the second line. Score, and cut out, as shown below, being careful not to cut through the paper on the back side.

Hot glue the seams, and tape the end where it connects...

Load up your pliers, and you are all set...

Great idea.
A tip, you can make a improve just making holes on the side and after put it on the wall and using like a tools holder.

That is a great idea. I think I´ll extend it and stick screwdrivers in there to. Just need an extra horizontal piece inside.

I'll make one of Depron (5mm). You can buy that from your floor-supplier for around $3 / square meter

Like it, but we can't get 'dollar tree foam board' here, only 'artists board' which is quite expensive. I just wish I could find a supplier, I am sure there is a good market here, not just among modellers. I will try this with core flute, that might just work too.

Thank you for the idea..
