Multirotor guide: Configurations

Don, good overview. Can you weigh in on motor choice, with all these flat disk motors and the disparity in price across the range of motors? What are the things to look for in motor choice for each platform and kv rpms and prop size?

Nice video. I saw a cool video of all the national geographic camera rigs and they were saying the stacked octo they found to be the least wind prone of all the configurations.

My students are in the process of building a quad right now, first time builders. Based on what you said, it appears as though they chose the right platform to start with. Thanks for the great info and look forward to seeing what you produce next.

Great video can't wait for more. Your talon tricopter videos got me hooked. I would love to see a multiwii se 2.0 walk thru it you have experience with it.
