Thanks for the video and speculations on the 9XR. Most of what you spoke about went way over my poor head, but I'm glad to see that all in all you have a good (?) opinion of the radio---since I bought one.
I bought my original 9X to have a 3 position switch in order to take full advantage of a FY30A auto pilot/gyro. But I never got it right and could find no one else that did either. I did see a video on 3 position flaps (which I was unable to duplicate) but that was all.
So I am hoping that the switches now being "assignable" will make all that possible, even for me.
Anyway, thanks a lot. Good video.
Cheers

It should be possible, and the 9XR should have the same 3 position switch.

I should have bought a 9x and not this piece of junk RDS8000 I'm stuck with.

Bigger the number... Looks like the one in Back to the Future.

That was a Futaba. Plus my flux capacitor only produces 2.4 Gigahertz, forget about 1.21 Jiggawatts.

The recommended parts are now hidden - Press the icons below "Add to Cart" - that is - if they are blue, if they are gray there are no parts available in that category.

Took me a while to find it too :D

Ah got it, they still don't have the battery there. I am sure they will soon.

They probably want to be shipping out simple packages for the initial run, I know if you order a new item on its own it gets to you much faster.

$15 pp, twin/matri. $12 dorm and $6 camping. Discounts if you take me flying, I have loads of sites I want to try out but don't have a car. :)

Sounds very reasonable! Hehe, I'm just 18, and I don't even know how to drive. But I will bring my Bixler if I ever go up there! I'll PM you my e-mail.
